Visual Designer
Client: Riverfox is my own brand in which I carry out any work completed out of my full-time employment hours. It currently consists of work done for either my own personal gain, or at requests of friends/family. I aspire in future to possibly grow this brand and produce print work for a wider audience.
Design Thinking: The table plan is a custom piece for a couple who married in Cyprus. Each table was given a name of a city on the island. These are then connected by dotted lines to the location of the city on the map. Planes were added to those that had airports, as most of the guests flew to the destination.
The map is a slightly simplified outline of the island itself, with hearts that were chosen to represent each destination as weddings are a celebration of love. The dotted lines are a playful suggestion towards a path a plane may take, and they encompass the names of the bride and groom to tie it all together. The colour palette came from a mood board that the couple provided of the decorations that they had already chosen. Along with a font request for something more handwritten than formal. Although a more formal legible font was chosen for the names so they could be clearly read by guests.
